Qin Shihuang is "the first emperor through the ages", with clear literary and martial arts, as well as clear and unclear. The book "Qin Mystery" lists four mysteries related to him. First, "who is the father of Qin Shihuang", a topic that has been talked about for thousands of years, can cater to the gossip psychology of many readers, and the more unclear it is, the more popular it is. Second, "the story of the younger brother and the false father", because the main character is the emperor, it is naturally associated with Gongdou. Compared with the first two "regular topics", the latter two seem to be more interesting-"looking for Qin Shihuang's cousin", who is his cousin? Is his cousin so important? "Qin Shihuang's Harem Mystery", shouldn't Qin Shihuang's queen be the Afang girl?

Li Kaiyuan is a historian, with both the study of words in the classics and the experience of archaeological field investigation. Such people interpret history, and their thinking is always a little broader than that of the old husband in the study. They combine historical records with archaeological data, and often carry something from an obvious but neglected corner to peel off the cocoon and cut silk. Moreover, the analysis is reasonable and well-founded, which makes people shine at the moment.

About because the manuscript has been used as a commentary for TV cultural programs, the style of "Qin Mystery" is mainly rigorous and concise oral English, which is grounded and suspense, but not mysterious. As a reader who likes history, the biggest advantage of reading Qin Mystery is that it opens up a new perspective on reading history. In the same history book, reading stories is a way of reading, but fortunately, I just want to talk more without much understanding; solving puzzles is also a way of reading, fortunately, I have seen what I have not said. Of course, solving puzzles requires strong information integration and deconstruction ability, which will take more brains and look hard. Fortunately, at least in Qin Shihuang's case, professionals such as Li Kaiyuan have already been involved for us.

However, although Li Kaiyuan says his aim is to "reveal the truth about history", who can really tell the truth about history, which is thousands of years ago? Even contemporaries of the record and even those who have experienced it, I am afraid there will be problems with the "authorities. So reading this book, even if you think the analysis is reasonable, there is no need to rush to the judgment that "this is the historical truth. If you feel credible, believe it. Think it's bullshit, it's bullshit.
