I have always felt that the location of the pond where lotus flowers are planted in the school is perfect. When I am reading in the corner of the library, I turn my head to the bottom of the window and there is a precious lotus pond.

Before winter, I often pass by the small stone bridge on campus. The water on the stone steps under the bridge gurgled tirelessly into the pool full of lotus flowers.

It often rains in summer. The sky curtain is low, as if the Tianhe River leaks the bottom, and the thick rain curtain blocks everything-the green shade of trees, teaching buildings, and playgrounds. There is only this bottomless rain curtain left between heaven and earth. The wind blows and the rain flutters, like a giant waterfall, shaking down countless tender willow leaves and residual flowers, and retreating together into the lotus pond filled with rain. Under the blue sky after the rain, the huge lotus leaves in the pond like wheels hold up a pool of thick shade. Out of nowhere, a flock of brown ducklings linger among them, like the half-budding lotus flowers of the pink daikon, which seem to have emerged from the water after a heavy rain.

One day at the end of summer, I was sitting on a stone bench by the pond to blow the wind. On the grass slope beside me was a tree that could not be named. It had small golden leaves. The sun shone and seemed to shine. A gust of wind blew, rippling several layers in the pond, and the tree began to rustle and sway, and golden, feathery leaves fell into the water. That afternoon, I was experiencing a life of frustration, the gurgling water and golden leaves soothe my body and mind.

It's autumn, the weather is suddenly cold, and the bright colors in the world seem to be withered by the autumn wind overnight. In hindsight, I found that in addition to the blue sky and the fire-like ginkgo leaves, the scene on campus became extremely monotonous. Once I walked out of the library and passed through the small stone bridge, only to find that the lotus pond had not attracted my attention for a long time. At dusk, I walked on the cobblestone path by the pond. Thousands of withered lotus flowers stood with their last bodies in the clear autumn water. The thin stems could no longer support the big withered leaves. They hung their heads one by one. On the water dyed red by the sunset, they looked like the heads of countless warriors. My heart is a heavy solemn, they add a solemn and stirring autumn. In summer, ducks playing under the lotus canopy to catch fish are rarely seen. They become more cautious. Their dark brown feathers are one with the withering of the pond. Even students who stay by the pond and study all day seldom see them.

Those students sat on wooden chairs under the big golden willow trees by the pond, or carried small folding stools with them, holding several thick and very important books, and bowed their heads to respect things.

Now, when I get home, I haven't seen snow in the lotus pond. Whenever I want to write something, I always think of the lotus pond in my school wonderfully.
