Yunnan Peak Replacing Kiln Tail Chimney

News from our newspaper # February 8 , with the completion of the welding of the last section of pipeline, the replacement of the kiln tail chimney of Yunnan Jianfeng Cement Company was successfully completed.

When Yunnan Peak inspected the steel plate of kiln tail chimney in November of 2022 , it was found that the thickness was reduced by 2-3 mm compared with that of 2021 , and it was necessary to replace it. In addition, according to the continuous 5 years of testing data analysis, it is found that the corrosion is weak below the inlet of the tail exhaust fan. In order to save costs, after discussion, it was decided that the replacement chimney should be replaced upward from , 25, 19 meters. For those below , 25, 21 meters, anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out during the next kiln shutdown to ensure that the service life matches the newly replaced part. , Yunnan Jianfeng determined the supplier and arrival time of the materials used for replacement through bidding, and worked out a set of construction plan through communication with the hoisting master and the construction team in the early stage: use 600 ton truck crane, and use the inner cylinder to hoist into the construction platform first when dismantling, after cutting 8 wire rope holes and fixing 4 wire ropes, the crane places the construction platform at 1 m below the required slit and fixes it firmly. The cutting can be lifted out. When installing a new chimney, the lowest construction platform is cut for splicing and welding, and so on. Since some iron plates are composite plates, 2.5 mm corrosion-resistant stainless steel plates are bonded to ordinary steel plates. In order to ensure that the stainless steel plates are not damaged, the old breathable cloth is used to be wound on the pressure roller of the plate bending machine for protection. Special lifting workpieces are used in the manufacturing process to ensure that the inner cylinder is not damaged. In order to ensure the welding quality, plates above 10 mm shall be beveled on one side. Each transverse seam and vertical seam shall be welded on both sides and each weld shall be inspected. Only after approval can the next section be hoisted and butted. . Due to the difficulty of docking the old and new pipes, the deformation of the original pipe is large, and the docking time exceeds the expected time.
