Not long ago, Xu Yiming, manager of the security department of Tianjin Jianfeng Natural Products Company, received an honorary certificate. Natural Products Company originally did not have an independent safety management organization, and relevant departments "each take care of " for safety and environmental protection. With the expansion of the enterprise scale and the increase of employees, according to the requirements of group companies, pharmaceutical companies and relevant laws and regulations, in 2017 10 , a security department specially responsible for safety production, fire safety and occupational health supervision and management was established, and Xu Yiming, the former manager of the production department, became the first manager of this professional department.

Xu Yiming entered Jianfeng Pharmaceutical after graduating from University. After transferring to a natural products company, he has been working in the production position from the main operation to the production manager. Although he does not have special experience in production safety management, his experience of 10 as a production manager also gives him a good understanding of the types of risks, sources of risks and points of risks in the workshop. After taking office, with the support of Liu Dan, general manager of the natural products company, he promoted the establishment of a safety committee composed of the management team and the heads of various departments. Regular meetings were held every month to summarize the safety production work of the month, coordinate the problems encountered in the safety production work of various departments, and arrange the safety production tasks for the next stage. In the first year of the establishment of the Ministry of Security, Xu Yiming successively drafted and formulated 38 management systems related to production safety, forming a relatively complete system.

To do a good job in safety production management, it is not enough to have a system. The key is to make the concept of safety production deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and improve the safety production capacity of all employees. For this reason, most of Xu Yiming's energy in the past few years has been focused on the safety education and safety culture construction within the company. According to the industry characteristics of the natural product company and the actual situation of the company, he regularly organizes and carries out targeted safety education and training. Put forward suggestions and actively improve the unreasonable safety protection measures on the production site, formulate the company's emergency rescue plan, and improve the reserve and maintenance of emergency rescue facilities and materials. Under his organization, it has become a common practice for natural products companies to evaluate the current situation of safety management every year, emergency rescue drills twice a year, and compulsory fire brigade skills training once a quarter, and a dual prevention mechanism has been established. In addition, according to the requirements of the group company to build a safe, environmental protection and accident-free factory, regular organization of employees to carry out risk identification, formulate control measures, and supervise the implementation of safety hazard rectification has also become "routine action " of the security department. 2019 4# In April, Natural Products Company successfully passed the enterprise safety production standardization assessment and reached the secondary standard.

Xu Yiming is an active and studious person. In order to make up for "short board " in safety production professional knowledge, he often communicates with "predecessors " in the same industry or safety field, exchanges and discusses the problems and difficulties encountered in safety management, and applies their experience to the safety production management of natural products companies. 2019 , within two years of switching to full-time safety work, he passed the exam and became a registered safety engineer.

Looking back on the 51.5 years after the change of career, Xu Yiming has a lot of regrets. The Ministry of Security has few staff and complicated and trivial affairs. It also needs the coordination and cooperation of other departments. Compared with the previous management of production, it takes a lot more energy. However, seeing the gradual improvement of the safety management situation of natural products companies, the employees changed from "to " to "to " , and he felt that all these efforts were worth it.
