"Sacrifice to You " on the 14th of October of the lunar calendar is the most grand festival of our dragon surnamed Miao family every year. It is a grand festival integrating celebrating harvest, offering sacrifices to ancestors and giving thanks to heaven and earth.

Before the festival comes, every family in the village invites relatives and friends to come home for the festival in advance, and each family brews a jar of sweet wine in advance to prepare dishes. On the morning of the festival, glutinous rice will be steamed to make glutinous rice cakes. The male host will catch carp in the field and cook them at home for later use. In addition, he will prepare the necessary items for sacrifice. At the beginning of the sacrifice, a table was placed beside the ancestral god's seat, a piece of glutinous rice cake was stored on the table, and earth bowls, wine, green vegetable leaves and carp were placed on the ground, that is, the priest was asked to recite the sacrificial words. After the sacrifice, the guests and the host gathered around the table to drink and eat meat. While eating, the host enthusiastically persuaded him to drink, and invited the guests to play guessing and sing for fun. After the host and guest were full of wine and food, the man blew the reed pipe, and the woman picked up the bench by the way at the wine table and danced the bench dance.
