I'm going to be a judge

# January , the trade union of Pu 'er Industrial Park held a welding skills competition for enterprises in the jurisdiction. I was lucky enough to be invited as the judge of this competition.

At the beginning, I studied and analyzed according to the scoring requirements of the activity and combined with my past experience, and took it for granted that I used the general vernier caliper as the scoring measuring tool as before. However, at the coordination meeting organized by the judges before the competition, I found out that the competition used professional welding scoring measuring tools, which I had never seen before, let alone used. Therefore, I immediately modestly asked the professional welding technology judges hired by the vocational and technical college how to operate and measure all kinds of data. After two practical operations, I basically mastered the essentials. On the day of the

competition, I carefully compared the scoring criteria to score the weld width difference, weld height difference, undercut, front forming, back forming, back concave depth, back convex height, weld misalignment, air holes, slag inclusion, whether to repair welding and safety operation procedures, for fear that the score I scored was too different from that of other judges. After the event, I specially went to see the scoring statistics. Fortunately, the score I rated was very close to the score of the other four judges. And through this time as a judge, I clearly realized that my own gap, narrow knowledge, stay in the original fixed way of thinking. This is also like encountering problems at work. We often use habitual thinking to solve problems. We should broaden our horizons and borrow advanced experience from others to improve our ability to solve problems, break through original thinking, and change working methods. We should solve existing problems as management. New highlights, strengthen the learning of all aspects of knowledge, improve ourselves and adapt to the needs of the rapid development of enterprises.
