Daye Peak Completed Annual Inspection of Special Equipment Safety Valve

News from our newspaper Recently, Huangshi Branch of Hubei Special Equipment Inspection and Testing Research Institute went to Daye Peak Cement Company to conduct special inspections on special equipment safety valves.

safety valve belongs to the automatic valve of special equipment. Before being installed on the equipment, it must be verified by a professional third party organization according to the designed opening pressure. The verification can only be installed on the equipment within the allowable range controlled by the national standard. Otherwise, it must be reworked and re-manufactured. According to the Regulations on Safety and Technical Supervision of Safety Valves issued by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, safety valves used on boilers, pressure vessels, pressure pipelines and other equipment shall be checked regularly, generally at least once a year. Safety valves that have been disassembled, repaired and replaced shall be checked again. Once the safety valves are checked and qualified, they shall be locked or sealed and recorded in the technical files of pressure vessels.

Daye Peak has a total of 46 safety valves for inspection, including various safety valves on waste heat boiler, steam pipeline, gas storage tank, filter and air compressor oil. According to the technical specifications, the pressure of the safety valves is adjusted and sealing tests are conducted. After verification and testing, a total of 12 could not meet the requirements due to decay and rust. A brand-new safety valve was replaced and passed the test, reaching the qualified standard and can be put into use. (Zhang Qingyu)
