It can be said that "The Art of Communication" is a dictionary book about communication. It is kept on the bookcase. If you quarrel with your wife, your child loses his temper, your colleagues have friction, and you feel a little hard to communicate with customers. Take out the book and look for the reason and the answer to the problem.
There are too many knowledge points in the book, and I haven't read and understood them all. Here are three points that I am most impressed.
First, recognize yourself before communicating. We sometimes feel that we can't communicate with someone. We all speak Chinese, but we speak chicken and duck. We almost think that the other person has a hearing problem or a brain problem. Rest assured, when we think this way, the other person thinks the same way. This is because two people can think in completely different ways. For example, for the same half glass of water, A thinks "is great, there is half a glass of water here, we can drink " , B thinks "is too bad, why is there only half a glass of water, not enough for the two of us to drink " , so we quarreled. The Art of Communication tells you to identify your emotions first. In fact, there are many kinds of emotions. The book lists 132 words related to emotions.

Third, after communication, be good at responding and ending. Everyone is eager to get recognition and response from others in communication. As colleagues, friends, and partners, we recognize and support each other's views without hesitation. Timely appreciation, praise and encouragement are the best feedback for them, which not only makes him more willing to communicate, but also makes the relationship more harmonious. The book mentions "good communication comes from the other person's enthusiastic response " , imagine, if you greet someone warmly, and the only thing you get back is to turn a blind eye or careless feedback, would you want to continue communicating with that person? No one is willing to pay for your indifference, and no one is born with respect and enthusiasm for you.
When communicating with people, it is more important to end the conversation politely. First of all, you can't show impatience, you can't look around and keep looking at your watch. Secondly, we should explain the reason to the other party and make it clear that we have other things to deal with. The other party will certainly understand. When explaining, be sure to apologize, smile and shake hands with each other. You can also end the conversation with a tactful hint or some technique, such as asking someone to call yourself, it feels like something happened suddenly. In fact, it is very likely that the other party also wants to end the dialogue. At this time, instead of being impolite, the other party will thank you. Through some small movements and micro expressions, we can see the other party's thoughts.
