Shuanglong Hydropower Station is located in Xiwang Village, Luodian Town, Jinhua City. It was built in 1958 . It is Jinhua's earliest small rural hydropower station and the country's first high-head hydropower station. It has created industry miracles such as independent development of China's first 750 kW turbine, independent research and development of online power generation technology, and one ridge and eight stations hydropower mode. It is an important milestone in the history of China's power machinery manufacturing and rural hydropower. 1960 3 July 14 , Chairman Mao Zedong made a special visit to Shuanglong Hydropower Station and instructed to promote it as a typical example of the development of rural small hydropower in the country.
