Yunnan Jianfeng Innovation and R & D Center was established to implement the innovation-driven strategy, vigorously promote the construction of enterprise R & D capabilities, and coordinate the development of scientific and technological R & D and innovation. The center consists of R & D Technology Department, R & D Equipment Department, Waste Heat Power Generation Department, R & D Safety and Environmental Protection Department, R & D Quality Management Department and Comprehensive Management Department, and the personnel are concurrently served by the business backbone of relevant departments. The main functions of the center include scientific development planning, putting forward directions and suggestions for the enterprise's science and technology development strategy; independent project establishment, development and application research of new products, new processes and new technologies; collection of scientific research funds and scientific and technological reports; training of scientific research talents through lectures, training and other forms.

Yunnan Peak Innovation and Research Center has now established three QC research teams and has achieved initial results. Among them, the research and development team of economic and technical indexes of 2 roller press system mainly tackles the problem of high power consumption of the main machine of 2 roller press in cement mill system. The power consumption of cement mill system in the process has been significantly reduced through measures such as roller press loading pressure adjustment and roller gap adjustment. Reducing Coal Consumption QC Team has further narrowed the time-to-time consumption gap among teams through the regulation of air leakage points, the unification of grate bed pressure, the improvement of secondary air temperature and the improvement of primary air pressure, and the improvement of thermal intensity of burners. For the first time, the daily output of kilns has exceeded 4900 tons, and the target of standard coal consumption per ton of clinker 103 kg has been successfully achieved, tons of clinker process power consumption and other indicators also reached the best level in history. The R & D team of phosphogypsum instead of natural gypsum to produce cement is exploring new mixtures to reduce the cost of cement production, which has basically achieved the set goal. Through tackling key problems and innovations, Yunnan's peak economic and technical indicators have been further optimized, laying a good foundation for establishing regional market competitive advantages.
