After the cranberry extract product was included in the "Zhejiang Province Key High-tech Product Development Project Plan" in 2021 , Jianfeng Health Technology Company recently obtained an invention patent for the identification and detection method of cranberry extract.
Cranberry extract is rich in vitamin C , procyanidins, bioflavonoids and condensed tannic acid, which is a special compound with few contents in other fruits and vegetables. It has strong antioxidant, scavenging free radicals, preventing urinary tract infection, inhibiting the adhesion of Helicobacter pylori to the intestines and stomach, and has good effects on improving atherosclerosis, preventing cardiovascular diseases, cancer, senile dementia, etc. Proanthocyanidins are a general term for a large class of polyphenol compounds present in various plants, and their structures are catechin, epicatechin, or polymers of catechin and epicatechin. Studies have shown that A type of proanthocyanidins unique to cranberry is its main antibacterial component, while B type of proanthocyanidins have no similar effect.
