Daye Peak Cement Company has been equipped with a waste heat power generation system since the construction of the project, using the residual heat energy at the end of the kiln to generate electricity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions; after that, it took the lead in implementing denitration and desulfurization transformation in the cement industry in Hubei Province, and the emissions of nitrogen oxides and sulfides from production were much lower than the national emission standards. Since last year, Daye Peak has invested a lot of money to introduce new technologies and equipment to upgrade desulfurization, denitrification, grate coolers and other equipment to further improve product cooling and hot gas recovery efficiency. It is understood that through this series of technological transformation, Daye Peak can save energy equivalent to ,000 tons of standard coal every year, reduce carbon dioxide emission intensity by 3.6% , and effectively improve the management level of energy conservation and green environmental protection.
