Daye Peak: Typical Regional Industrial Green Development

Daye Peak Cement Company has been equipped with a waste heat power generation system since the construction of the project, using the residual heat energy at the end of the kiln to generate electricity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions; after that, it took the lead in implementing denitration and desulfurization transformation in the cement industry in Hubei Province, and the emissions of nitrogen oxides and sulfides from production were much lower than the national emission standards. Since last year, Daye Peak has invested a lot of money to introduce new technologies and equipment to upgrade desulfurization, denitrification, grate coolers and other equipment to further improve product cooling and hot gas recovery efficiency. It is understood that through this series of technological transformation, Daye Peak can save energy equivalent to ,000 tons of standard coal every year, reduce carbon dioxide emission intensity by 3.6% , and effectively improve the management level of energy conservation and green environmental protection.

In addition to upgrading technology and equipment to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, Daye Peak has also made great efforts to create a green factory, and the landscape and vegetation coverage level of the factory area have been improved year by year. In terms of mine management, Daye Peak is based on the principle of "mining while managing", and the work of mine greening, dust control and information-based intelligent mine construction has been promoted in an orderly manner, and tens of millions of yuan have been invested in the restoration and management of the geological environment. The overall appearance of the mining area is new, which fully embodies the green mine development concept of "innovation, green, coordination, openness and sharing. In March this year, Daye Jianfeng Jinshan Limestone Mine was included in the national green mine list by the Ministry of Natural Resources. Due to Daye Peak's outstanding achievements in energy conservation, emission reduction and green development, it was also listed as a candidate enterprise in Huangshi Energy Conservation Promotion Week and participated in the selection of "Energy Conservation Star" enterprises.
