5# April 18 , the peak shifting production promotion meeting of the cement industry in southwest Yunnan was held in Yunnan Jianfeng Cement Company. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the cement industry's staggered peak production has been normalized nationwide, effectively alleviating the contradiction between supply and demand caused by overcapacity, reducing air pollution emissions, and achieving obvious economic, environmental and social benefits. Fang Xuhua, vice president of Yunnan Cement Association and chairman of Southwest Yunnan Branch, analyzed the problems and severe situation in combination with the cement market situation in Southwest Yunnan since this year. At this stage, due to the changes in the relationship between supply and demand, the release of new production capacity, the overall production capacity is not ideal and other factors, the market fluctuates, and disorderly competition appears in some areas, which is extremely unfavorable to maintaining the stability of the regional market. Fang Xuhua pointed out that Yunnan is the southwest gateway of "Belt and Road Initiative" and a province with large sources of tourism and biological resources, and staggered peak production, emission reduction and efficiency increase are of great significance to protecting the ecological environment and promoting the stable and coordinated development of the local economy. All enterprises should take practical actions to support the social responsibility of energy conservation and emission reduction in peak shifting production, and jointly maintain the healthy development of the industry.
After full deliberation and discussion, the participating member units reached a consensus on the energy conservation, emission reduction, green production and other related work of enterprises in the region in the next period, and formed specific work arrangements.
