As a child, looking at these days of the New Year, my favorite day is New Year's Eve, because this day is the busiest and most interesting day at home. On the morning of New Year's Eve, I will go to my grandparents' house in the countryside with my parents and twin sisters for the New Year. On this day, you can always see every household in the countryside busy killing pigs and sheep, which is very lively. In the afternoon, I put the pig head on the dining table to worship the gods of heaven and earth. after the rich new year's eve meal is ready, grandpa will always go to the field and shout my sister and I, who are playing with other friends, to go home and burn incense to worship. Grandpa first lit a pile of yellow paper and put it on the ground. Then he gave us some good incense. Let's bend down to worship and bless our family's well-being. When I was a child, I didn't know what this meant. Sometimes I even found it interesting. After the worship, a large family happily sat around the table to eat and chat, sharing their interesting or memorable things that happened in the past year, blessing each other, and having fun.

Later, the adults present would also hold the incense and pray and step forward to insert the incense into the soil.

Although I was still young at that time, I could realize that ancestor worship was a very solemn and serious matter. I would worship them devoutly, give them some incense and burn paper money. After the adults burned incense, they had to set off crackling firecrackers. Every time I would have a conditioned reflex, quickly pulling my sister, shouting at other children, and running down the mountain together. Running on the ridge is one of the joys of children. Looking at each different field brings a sense of beauty that fits with nature. For me, it is also a very beautiful and cherished childhood memory.

Since I got married, I feel that the taste of the year has faded a lot. The biggest change is that on New Year's Eve, I can't go back to my hometown to feel the unique strong flavor of the countryside. Instead, I spent time with my parents-in-law at home. I didn't go to my grandparents' house in the countryside to pay New Year's greetings until the second day of the new year. I completely lost my vision and wish for the New Year as a child, because I couldn't chase and frolic with my friends in the fields or dig holes in the mountains, you can't fish in a stream with a fishing net...

Although our expectation and yearning for the Spring Festival will weaken a lot as we grow older, in everyone's heart, the Spring Festival is still the most anticipated day of the year, because it is a busy year of family reunion, reunion day, time to give it is destined to be beautiful, happy, looking forward, the meaning it brings to everyone will also be far-reaching and long-flowing.
