Daye Peak Adjusts Grate Cooler to Reasonably Control Clinker Temperature

Recently, with the substantial decrease in winter temperature, Daye Peak Cement Company has adjusted the grate cooler equipment according to the production process requirements to reasonably control the clinker temperature. At the beginning of

2020 , the technological transformation of Daye spike grate cooler was completed, and the clinker temperature of the grate cooler was greatly reduced, basically solving a series of process equipment problems caused by the high clinker temperature in summer and the difficulty in controlling the cement temperature of the grind. However, with the arrival of winter, the ambient temperature is greatly reduced, the clinker temperature is low, the moisture content of the mixed material is difficult to control, and the temperature of the roller press system and the mill system is low, resulting in high moisture content of the cement, causing quality fluctuations. In order to solve this problem, Daye Peak adjusted the grate cooler according to the process requirements.

This adjustment controls the air volume of the second-stage fan of the grate cooler to 70% of the original air volume, and controls the air volume of the two air chambers after the first stage to 70-80%. Adjust the ventilation area of the grate plate of the corresponding air chamber, reduce the air volume, maintain the air pressure, and avoid material leakage in the air chamber. At the same time, a small hot stove is added to the inlet air pipe of the roller press V to cope with the normal operation of the mill during the kiln maintenance period. After

adjustment, the clinker temperature control is reasonable, the temperature of the roller press system and the mill system reaches the normal level, the material moisture is taken away in time, the cement moisture out of the mill decreases, the strength loss and the problem of storage shed do not appear again, the working efficiency of the 3# roller press and the fixed roller reaches 85%, and the feeding amount reaches the normal level.
