Shaoxing is Lu Xun's hometown and an ancient city with profound culture. I know nothing more about this city than Lu Xun's articles such as "From Baicao Garden to Sanwei Bookstore" in Chinese textbooks when I was a child. At the first stop, we went straight to Cangqiao Straight Street. This is an old street full of life. On both sides of the street are unique taimen buildings, and the ground is bluestone. There are many small shops and exhibition halls with local characteristics. The good scenery of a small bridge and flowing water family, the crowd of people, suddenly integrated me into this atmosphere.
As a foodie, the best way to taste a place is to "taste". Yellow wine milk tea is my most direct experience of Shaoxing ancient rhyme. Out of the bookstore is the Baicao Garden, which is actually a vegetable garden and the place where Lu Xun left many childhood memories.
A small river flows through the front of Lu Xun's former residence. The Wupeng boat sways across the river. When you arrive in Shaoxing, you have to take the Wupeng boat. Looking at the white walls and green tiles on both sides of the boat, the common people's homes, the typical Jiangnan water town style, the breeze slowly, keep a leisurely feeling, no hurry.
