On November 27, Daye Peak Cement Company invited bids for the materials to be replaced by the kiln tail chimney. Finally, a company specializing in making composite plates was selected to supply composite plates, while a local company making steel provided ordinary steel plates.
In order to reduce the sulfur content in the kiln tail flue gas, Daye Peak added a desulfurization tower in 2018, which greatly reduced the sulfur content in the kiln tail flue gas, but the corrosion to the kiln tail chimney is very serious, and there are certain safety risks. After many understanding, many existing cement plants with desulfurization towers have replaced the chimney as a whole, using a new stainless steel plate as a 2205 material, which has good corrosion resistance. For this reason, Daye Peak also decided to replace the chimney. Considering the cost, through many discussions, it finally chose to use ordinary steel plate at the bottom, composite steel plate at the place where flue gas contacts, and then hot-rolled it.
At the same time, in order to further reduce the cost, Daye Peak also invited bids for the construction and materials for the replacement of the kiln tail chimney. Through more than half a month of preparation, led the bidding unit to the construction site for on-the-spot understanding, recently conducted a bidding for the construction of the chimney, and finally determined the construction unit for chimney replacement through nearly a day of communication and bargaining.
