In the process of finding the reason, at first, I think there is a problem with the network cable. After testing with an electrician, the network cable is good. Is there a problem with the monitoring host itself? Looking at the dense electronic components, I fell into thinking. Just then, the software on the computer was able to search for the signal of the monitoring host again. Suddenly, I understood, is the temperature too high?

I opened the lid of the host, and the residual temperature on the lid was very high. If it was a computer host, about 60 degrees was already very high. After the lid of the host was opened, I observed for a period of time to monitor that the host did not break the network again. But the lid is easy to open up into the dust, will also damage the life of the host, this how to do? Maybe open a hole to bring out the heat on it, bring out to have a cooling fan. Therefore, I bought several cooling fans. With the assistance of electrician Chen Xiongliang, I opened holes, installed fans and introduced power. After half an hour of installation, I touched the top cover of the main engine with my hand. It was slightly hot. The wind blown by the fan was very hot, much better than before. It has been several months so far, and there has been no disconnection.

According to this practice, we have installed cooling fans for more than half of the monitoring hosts. A small modification can not only extend the service life of electronic equipment, but also ensure the safety of the monitoring area in the factory. (Zhu Guoping)
