Q:You used to work in logistics administration and took over the chlor-alkali business in 2019 . This is a shift from affairs to marketing-like work with such a large span. How did you get familiar with the situation quickly and get your work on the right track?
Answer:The span is indeed very large, but fortunately, I have participated in the operation of the e-commerce park before, and the content is somewhat related. I have accumulated a lot of valuable experience in it, which is a very important foundation. Although there is a certain connection, after all, there are still differences, and previous experience cannot be copied. When I just took over the business, my job role suddenly changed, and I was inevitably unfamiliar with the new job content. The competition in the warehousing industry was fierce, and the early pressure was still quite great.
Q:So how did you solve the problem later?
A:Actually, there are no special new tricks, they are all old and stupid methods. It is to rely on one step at a time to run more customers and make many trips a year. In this way, on the one hand, we are familiar with the original business, strengthen communication with old customers, and improve our service quality; on the other hand, we are constantly striving to develop new customers and new business. After long-term efforts, we have cooperated with leading enterprises in the chemical materials industry in the northwest region.
Q:As the saying goes, what achievements have been made after the difficulties have been solved?
A:In the past year, around the responsibility system target issued by the company, we have fulfilled our job responsibilities relatively well, and actively developed upstream customers such as Zhongtai in Xinjiang, Ordos and Beiyuan in Shaanxi. As a result, the arrival volume of PVC reached more than 7 tons that year, up more than 60% from the previous month, exceeding the tasks assigned by the company. Among them, container arrivals increased by more than 40%. The increase in the amount of arrival has brought about an increase in the amount of delivery and throughput, which has contributed to the completion of the Group's responsibility tasks.
Q:What is the deepest feeling about the work of 2019 ?
A:It's not easy to do business! (Laughter) But it's okay. While I'm young and in good health, I struggle more for my career. I enjoy it and enjoy it.
