Tianhou Palace is located in the middle of the ancient culture street, a famous subject in Tianjin. Because the palace is dedicated to Queen of Heaven, that is, Mazu, it is also called "Niang Palace " . Tianhougong was built in Yuan Dynasty 1326 . The most recent major renovation was in 2012 . It is one of the earliest existing Mazu temples in China.
