Speaking of Dai people, I'm afraid most people will immediately think of the Water Splashing Festival, which is the Dai people's New Year and the most solemn traditional festival in Xishuangbanna. The annual Water Splashing Festival, there will be a wealth of various activities, the grand scene attracted countless tourists from other places. Even if I was born and brought up in Pu'er, I can't help but yearn for it.

For this year's Water Splashing Festival, I changed into Dai costumes with my friends and took the "water splashing equipment"-water gun, bucket and basin, which had been prepared for a long time, to participate in the Water Splashing Festival with everyone. At noon 12 , we came to the big square of Dai village and observed the sea of people around us with a little expectation. of course, we were also ready to be splashed with water.

The event is about to begin. The host asked us to fill up the "equipment" with water. The square suddenly became much quieter, and I was a little nervous, looking left and right with a water gun. One! Two! Three! Begin! With the host's "order", all the people present together brightened their voices and shouted: "Water, water! Water, water, water!" Everyone flocked to the center of the square to chase and play. As long as they met people, whether familiar or unfamiliar, their hands were a splash. Not long after the activity, I was "separated" from my friends, and there were shiny splashes and happy smiling faces everywhere in front of me.

I quickly covered my head with a basin, but at the moment when the basin was about to be buckled on my head, with a "wow", there was still water in front of me. Then, there were "pops" again and again, and several pots of water exploded happily on the bottom of my basin. I can't wait to fill a basin full of water and throw it at them...

Water Splashing Festival is a sacred festival in the hearts of the Dai people, and the splash represents sincere blessing. Maybe everyone's image will be a little embarrassed, but there are laughter and brilliant faces everywhere. The sound of water, laughter, noise and playfulness echoed throughout the Dai village for a long time.
