Always wanted to visit Xinjiang. After missing several opportunities, I finally set foot on the trip this spring. When

arrived at Urumqi Airport, it was already over 9 pm. As soon as I landed, I immediately called the tour guide - because it was "Lone Ranger " , and I was somewhat worried about some of the statements I had heard about Xinjiang's security. But the tour guide just couldn't find the position I said. Seeing that there were fewer and fewer passengers outside the airport, in desperation, I went to ask the old man who was cleaning nearby, and realized that we were not at the same terminal exit. When I contacted the tour guide again, the old man in the red hat stood quietly with a broom until my "savior " came and left silently.

The tour guide is a handsome young man who speaks fluent Mandarin. In my imagination, Xinjiang people should have curly hair, big eyes, high nose bridge and big tongue. He is totally indifferent. The young man said he was a Han, the third generation of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. It seems that I had expected what I was thinking in my heart. Before I could speak, he told me that the public security in Xinjiang is the best in China now. You can rest assured to play. After staying in the hotel, you can go to the surrounding area for a night view.

Gobi Desert

Urumqi is an hour later than that of Zhejiang, and it doesn't light up until 8 o'clock. The cold wind was blowing, and I quickly hid in the bus with the hot air conditioner.

started from Urumqi and looked out of the car window. The snow-capped mountains gradually faded away, and patches of apricot blossom forests entered the field of vision one after another. It is the season when apricot flowers are in full bloom. The pink and white apricot flowers look very delicate. I especially noticed that the soil under it is fine sand, not mud. After the apricot forest, large areas of the Gobi Desert appeared. In some places, there were still low trees, which were arranged neatly. At first glance, they were planted artificially, but the withered branches looked lifeless, accompanied by several clusters of gray-headed grass. Is this the Gobi? I can't help but wonder.

Of course, this imaginary picture has nothing to do with the Gobi Salt Lake. It is silent, uninhabited and deserted.

Cars are driving on a wide highway. On both sides of the highway, fine sand and gravel-like Gobi Desert alternately appear. The fine sand-like is relatively flat, and the gravel-like is like a hill. Some of them have scattered faults after being excavated. Grass and salt lakes have disappeared in the field of vision, and the Gobi Desert is even more desolate and dry under the sunlight. In the face of such a vast expanse of the Gobi Desert, some of the companions shook their heads, some sighed. I think, when the night comes, it is undoubtedly quiet here. How daunting it is to drive on such a Gobi Desert! Only when you have been to the Gobi Desert can you truly understand the artistic conception of "poor desert birds do not fly, and the dream of Wanqi Qian Shan is lazy " .

In the tuyere area on the way to Turpan, windmills of all sizes can often be seen on the Gobi Desert, which uses wind power to generate electricity. I have seen them from Kunming to Lijiang before. Later, from Turpan to Shanshan, windmills became large and small oil drilling machines. The Gobi Desert, though desolate, is rich in oil and gas beneath its barren exterior. The West-East Gas Pipeline Project started from Xinjiang. The entire line adopts automatic control, and the gas supply covers the Central Plains, East China, and the Yangtze River Delta.
