The land split by the axe is full of people who do not want to be slaves.

There are always some things that a nation cannot desecrate, and so is the May 4th Movement. The May 4th Movement was a patriotic movement of students, but from the perspective of the whole social background and social development, it not only changed the political situation at that time to a certain extent, but also made the influence of the New Culture Movement really spread. This vigorous patriotic movement greatly raised the consciousness of the Chinese people and created class, ideological and cadre conditions for the founding of the Communist Party of China.

So, what on earth is the spirit of the May Fourth Movement? The spirit of the May Fourth Movement is "patriotism, progress, democracy and science", in a nutshell, "the patriotic spirit of thoroughly and uncompromising anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism", with patriotism as its source and democracy and science as its core.

A century has passed, we no longer have to take to the streets and face the war like our ancestors, nor do we have to seek a way out in the future in the midst of the storm. However, the spiritual core of the May 4th Movement remains unchanged and is still applicable to this era. As a young man, as a pinnacle, I don't think it is an empty slogan about inheriting and carrying forward the spirit of the May Fourth Movement. The development of the spirit of the May Fourth Movement lies in everyone's life, in loving work, being responsible for work, being down-to-earth, constantly improving one's ability, and making due contributions to social development and even the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
