This kind of pleasure comes from the internal driving force formed by being recognized, admired and even worshipped by others, the environment, the public and colleagues, which drives people to be more engaged and create new ideas and material wealth more actively.
If this kind of "spiritual pleasure" cannot be found all the time, it will fall into inferiority and cannot extricate itself, will go slow and even resign. If it can be obtained in time, it will glow with unprecedented motivation and obsession. Managers should be able to grasp this characteristic of people, give people the opportunity of self-appreciation and self-recognition, and give them the recognition of appreciation and recognition in the name of the organization, then employees will automatically move closer to the organization.
Combined with my own work situation, I am deeply touched by the driving force brought by appreciation. Because I am a salesman, my customers place orders every week to purchase drugs. To give a simple example, if a ticketing officer accidentally makes a wrong order one day, I say in a critical tone: "How do you make out an invoice? If you open the wrong order and the warehouse sends the wrong goods, my shipping time will be delayed, and the receiving time of my customers will be affected. How do you work?" obviously, this will affect the mood of the ticket drawer. In the follow-up work, he will either be careful and slow down for fear of making mistakes again, which will affect the work efficiency. Either he is careless and breaks the jar, but he missed it anyway, so he has to make up for the time he lost before. In this way, if you don't check carefully when making out an invoice, you will make more mistakes, which will lead to a vicious circle.
And if I change the expression when the ticket clerk makes a mistake, "It doesn't matter. You 've made so many orders before, but you made a mistake once today. It's much more accurate than the previous ticket clerk. And your work is very efficient and fast. I hope you can continue to maintain high efficiency while striving for zero errors." After communicating in such an appreciative way, the ticket drawer will certainly be grateful. Because I appreciate his work as well as his work, appreciate his efficiency and understand that he only made a wrong order. Then the ticket drawer will not only have an unaffected state of mind in the next work, but also have a sense of happiness, so that he can continue to work efficiently, and be more careful and do his work better.
The content of the two ways of speaking is the same. They both hope that he will not make mistakes again next time. However, the ways of speaking are different, but there is a world of difference. The first way is full of negative energy. As soon as it comes up, it will completely deny the work of others, which will make people feel depressed and affect people's mood, which will inevitably have the opposite effect. The second way, full of positive energy, uses a way of appreciating and affirming each other's work, hoping that he can add icing on the cake and do it more perfectly. People have a happy, positive, active, and efficient positive energy work mentality. People who work in this mentality and environment are happy.
Appreciation is mutual. If you want to be appreciated, you have to appreciate others first. Only by learning to appreciate others can you be appreciated. To learn to appreciate is to be good at finding and discovering the advantages of others; to learn to appreciate is to watch with eyes, listen with ears, and praise with heart; to learn to appreciate is a kind of recognition, but also a kind of respect.
