In the cable production process, waste will inevitably be generated. The recycling price of the waste generated is also quite different according to different varieties and materials. The stripped copper wire can be exchanged for copper raw materials at a certain discount. The core wire without stripping can only be sold as waste products, while the other PVC , PE and other waste materials, mixed with the recycling price, are 1/3 lower than the price of separate recycling. The paper bags used for classification are bags of raw materials with a layer of plastic bags inside, and the recycling prices of plastic and paper are also different.

It is precisely for the consideration of increasing the recycling value of waste materials and strengthening on-site management that the cable company has implemented classified management of waste materials since 2012 , and has taken this as a key work. Special personnel are responsible for the management of waste materials warehouses, and improvements will be made every year according to the problems and deficiencies in the implementation process, last year, each post collected the waste from work every day with a large woven bag, sent it to the waste warehouse within the specified time period, and then weighed it according to the variety. However, the problem of incomplete classification still occurred.

In order to enhance the value of waste materials to a greater extent, the cable company has refined this issue this year. Each post has been replaced with small paper bags to collect waste materials. For the waste materials generated on that day, employees will use their free time to peel off the waste materials that can be peeled, and the waste materials that cannot be peeled will be collected and stored separately, the peeled plastic is also classified according to the different materials such as PVC and PE , collected in different paper bags, and then sent to the waste warehouse for weighing and pouring into the corresponding large bags before leaving work. Each post worker must make a record and sign it so as to be clear at a glance. After the waste is poured, the bags will also be sorted and disposed of. Employees will pull out the plastic bags from the paper bags and store them separately, thus truly refining the sorting management to a point.

After this classification management, employees will pay more attention to the operation and minimize the generation of waste. And every day on the waste weighing and recording, if a day of waste suddenly increased, is the staff operation error, production process error or machine problems?
