The Spring Festival in the northeast is very festive. Starting from the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month, the prelude to the New Year has been kicked off. It is necessary to prepare new year's goods and go to the market to buy green vegetables, jujube, crystal sugar, firecrackers, Spring Festival couplets and red lanterns.

On New Year's Eve, when it was dark, firecrackers rang out. Every family makes New Year's dishes, and fish is essential, because it symbolizes more than every year; there is also a pickled pig hand, which means that you can catch money for a year. The couplets and blessing characters were pasted on the doors and windows of every family. The family gathered around the table talking and laughing, enjoying themselves, waiting to see the Spring Festival Gala.

On the first day of the first month, children and younger generations will take gifts to their elders' homes to pay New Year's greetings. From this day on, red lanterns and all kinds of small lanterns will be hung, which is a festive and peaceful taste.

The Lantern Festival on the 15th of the first month is another climax of the Spring Festival. From ten o'clock to twelve o'clock in the evening, every household has to catch the gods and light the sawdust mixed with diesel oil, one pile after another, one after another, with no end in sight. The fire is as warm as the atmosphere of the New Year in the northeast, driving away all the cold in the winter night. It's a beautiful day to eat tangyuan on this day.
