Although it is not as large as the ancient city of Lijiang, the ancient city of Dukezong, and the ancient city of Phoenix, it is indeed unique to be able to enjoy such an antique place in the surrounding cities with an inch of gold and high-rise buildings. Kuanzhai Alley is actually composed of parallel arrangement of wide alleys, narrow alleys and well alleys. There are also narrow paths or courtyards between the alleys. The alleys are almost all antique courtyard houses of Qingdai bricks and tiles. This is also a relatively large-scale Qingchao ancient street left over from Chengdu. Together with Daci Temple and Wenshu Temple, it is also called the protected block of Chengdu's three famous historical and cultural city. It is understood that in Kangxi 57 , after pacifying the Junggar Rebellion, the ruler chose more than 1,000 soldiers to garrison Chengdu and built a full city on the basis of the small city of that year. In the early years of the Republic of China, the managers at that time changed the "hutong" to "alley". It was not until the 1970 s and 1980 s that Kuanzhai Alley was included in the "Chengdu Historical and Cultural City Protection Plan", and this block has gradually become a commercial pedestrian street with Chinese characteristics. In recent years, with the development of tourism, Kuanzhai Alley has also begun to become the new ten sights of Chengdu, the famous historical and cultural streets of Sichuan, and the ten most beautiful streets.
