In order to ensure the normal operation of the production line, the plant decided to immediately stop the supply of domestic water. However, if the production of the kiln is stopped due to the leakage of the pipeline, it will bring huge economic losses to the enterprise, and the repair work is imminent.

Chen Changfa, Gao Guoli and Huang Shuisong of the Waste Heat Power Generation Department immediately formed an emergency repair team and set off as soon as possible. Everyone walked along the lines buried by the water pipes to carefully search and eliminate. After several hours of investigation, the leak was finally found around 8 : 30. However, this section of the pipeline, which is located at the junction of the fish pond and Baoan Lake, is "in danger". It is laid in the water, and the water level is nearly one person high, which brings great difficulties to the emergency repair team. After some discussion, the emergency repair team decided to contact the company to arrange for the pump to pump water. Taking advantage of this gap, the emergency repair team carried out the cofferdam. After the pump is in place, as the water level slowly drops, the seeping water pipe appears. Chen Changfa immediately went into the water to repair, remove screws and install Haff Festival. Everything seemed to be developing according to the expected progress. However, at this moment, a stream of water surged in, almost washed down the repair workers, and the temporary dam on this side of the fish pond "burst. The water swept in, flooding the pipes in an instant and destroying previous efforts. Everyone had to come up from the water first to discuss countermeasures.

The water is mixed with silt, weeds and other debris, and the repair personnel carry forward the spirit of not being afraid of hardship, not afraid of tiredness, and continuous combat, and persist in working in the water. However, the work clothes soaked in water swell like lanterns, and the huge buoyancy makes it difficult to maintain balance in the water. Faced with this situation, Chen Changfa took off his clothes and continued to fight in the water shirtless. When his companions saw this, they also joined the ranks. But wearing clothes seriously restricts the work. This is a battle against time, and we must not lose. In the end, Chen Changfa decided to continue to strip and rescue. He and the workers had the scorching sun on their heads until 4 : 30 p. m., and finally ruled out the danger. After landing, everyone's skin was red from the sun and felt a burning pain at the touch.

The most touching thing is Gao Guoli. He was accidentally scalded two days ago and had several fist-sized scars on his legs. After several hours of soaking, the wound showed signs of inflammation, but he did not complain at all and persisted until the repair was over.

After a day of "bathing water" fighting, the water pipe failure of Baoan Lake was eliminated, the production line resumed normal operation, and the water consumption of the factory employees began to recover. Perhaps for many people who do not know, this is just a very common water cut, but for the waste heat power generation department, they are like soldiers, winning this fierce battle with time.
