I have never regretted it in my life

In our spare time, we often chat with our parents. My mother often proudly says, "I have never regretted it in my life." I have a strong opinion on this. In her later years, her mother talked a lot and became verbose. From time to time, she complained that my father did not understand her, did not cherish her, did not know how to deal with neighborhood relations, and was far from her reticence and hard work when she was young. The two often quarreled over trivial matters and even played a cold war. Sometimes I feel that what she said is exaggerated. I prefer my young mother.
