I have never regretted it in my life

When I was a child, when I suffered setbacks and was depressed, my mother would comfort me with this sentence: there is no regret medicine in the world, so don't regret it if you do it. In our spare time, we often chat with our parents. My mother often proudly says, "I have never regretted it in my life." I have a strong opinion on this. In her later years, her mother talked a lot and became verbose. From time to time, she complained that my father did not understand her, did not cherish her, did not know how to deal with neighborhood relations, and was far from her reticence and hard work when she was young. The two often quarreled over trivial matters and even played a cold war. Sometimes I feel that what she said is exaggerated. I prefer my young mother.

When I was young, my mother was kind and filial, and was often called a "good wife and mother", but my grandmother didn't like her. We all know that grandma has always disliked this daughter-in-law. "I don't know a lot of big characters" is the label she put on her mother. The mother is often wronged, will only their own sad tears but never explain. Once we really couldn't watch it anymore. I got up to go to the toilet that night and found the lights on in my parents' room.
