Although it was a bit late, the snow still came in Jinhua, which made people a little at a loss, but more was joy.

The snow hasn't stopped yet, flying all over the sky, like elves. Some fell on the branches, some fell on the grass, wearing a snow-white velvet hat for the green leaves; those who fell on the road were not so lucky, and suddenly turned into water. In southern cities, the snow is always gentle and moist.

I'm a native northerner. The winter in the north is very dry. Sometimes my mouth will crack and peel when I sleep. When I was a child, I didn't have lip balm. My mother dipped my chopsticks in sesame oil and put it on my mouth. My mouth was full of sesame fragrance. I often couldn't help licking it. Although the taste was not good, the effect was excellent. The snow in the north is as heavy as goose feather. It often lasts a whole day. My mother will take a broom out to sweep the road every once in a while. When she returns to the house, her head is covered with snow and she looks like a Santa Claus.

When the snow stops, my brother will take me to catch birds. Support the sieve with a wooden stick, tie a rope to the stick, and sprinkle a handful of broken corn under the sieve. We hide from a distance until a bird comes down to eat corn. Once we pull the rope, we will be locked under the sieve. However, it is often the two people's faces and noses are red with cold, and they can't catch one. After returning home, they will be scolded by adults for being "naughty". However, at this time, the hand on the heating and then put it on the face, that moment of comfort, it is indescribable. Put a rack twisted with iron wire on the stove, and the simple oven is ready to bake steamed bread slices, sweet potatoes and chestnuts. Before roasting chestnut, cut it with a knife, or the hot chestnut will explode and fly.

When I was a child, my favorite thing was New Year's Eve. Adults would set off fireworks and firecrackers. Firecracker debris drifted away and sank into the earth with glittering and translucent snowflakes. The fine falling red paper, inlaid on the thick snow, like brocade embroidery, reflected in the bottom of my heart.
