Automation Transformation of Yunnan Peak Water Intake System

News from our newspaper In August this year, Yunnan Peak Cement Company carried out automation transformation of water intake system, adopting water level linkage control, and after a period of operation, the effect was good.

Yunnan Peak is located in a mountainous area with water shortage. It is necessary to draw water from Dazhong River Reservoir, which is more than

5 kilometers away from the factory area. The original 4 water pump adopts pressure control, and the outlet valve must be manually adjusted every time it is started. If the pressure does not match, the pressure is greater than the working condition of 1Mpa , which is easy to cause water pipe burst accident. The working condition of pressure less than 0.6Mpa cannot meet the use requirements and increases power consumption. It also requires 4 people to take turns on duty. In response to this situation, Yunnan Peak has reformed this and adopted water level linkage control. 4 pumping stations have added water tanks. As long as the water level of the high-level pool reaches the set water level or the water level of the pumping station water tank reaches the set water level, the upper-level water pump will be automatically started or stopped without arranging personnel to operate.

40 days of operation and debugging certification and analysis, the project has been able to meet the requirements of unmanned operation and ensure the reliability of operation. In the future, Yunnan Peak will arrange one person to inspect the system equipment once a day to ensure the effective and reliable operation of the equipment. (Lou Xuxin)
