The drainage outlet of the ornamental pool of Jinxi Factory is located above the pool. Only after reaching a certain water level, the water in the pool will overflow through the outlet and flow into the rainwater outlet. The dirty water in the original pool can only be diluted and replaced by overflowing while replenishing water. This method is not only inefficient, but also consumes a lot of water. Generally, it is replaced once a quarter. Because the drain outlet is above, the silt at the bottom of the pool cannot be discharged, the pool after water change is still turbid, and there is a risk of excessive rainwater when the water overflows into the rainwater pipe network.

In response to this situation, Jinxi Factory has modified the water pump of the artificial waterfall on the rockery. A three-way connector is installed at the outlet of the water pump. A water pipe is connected to the bottom of the pool. As long as the water pump is turned on, the silt and dirty water at the bottom of the pool can be discharged together through the water pipe. The water of the artificial waterfall is supplemented into the viewing pool, which saves tap, the discharged muddy water can also irrigate the flowers, plants and trees in front of the building. At the same time, the risk of excessive rain can be solved, which can be described as killing three birds with one stone. (Zhang An)
