Dad joined the army in 1970 . He was the maintenance battalion chief of the 91 regiment of an air force unit. His army was stationed in xintai city, Shandong Province. The family hospital we live in is three kilometers away from the army station. The children go to the army children's primary school next to the barracks. There are only 80 students in five classes. After changing jobs, my father has always demanded himself according to the standards of a soldier. His quilts will always be folded neatly like tofu pieces. He is as selfless, honest and rigorous as a soldier. When his hometown was hit by a flood, he fought the flood in his unit and stayed away for days and nights. After retirement, because his mother was in poor health, he took on most of the housework.
