The taste made me fall in love with it.

This is a sentence from Lu You's poem "In the Six Peaks, I See Picking Myrica rubra and Stay in the Mountains for Days. Imagine that scene, clusters of red agate-like red bayberry crowded side by side to hang all over the branches, in the context of green leaves, that how lovely! Fortunately, bayberry is a major characteristic fruit of Jinhua, especially Lanxi, which is adjacent to Jinhua, is the famous hometown of bayberry. Li Shizhen recorded in Compendium of Materia Medica that "bayberry can quench thirst, and the five internal organs, can clean the intestines and stomach, and get rid of vexation and evil spirit".
