Villagers in the surrounding villages and towns who were not affected by the flood learned about the situation and joined the struggle against nature. Some people spontaneously made midnight snacks overnight to raise towels, socks, blankets, straw mats and other materials to send to the front line. Some people bought hot soybean milk, porridge and steamed buns early in the morning and sent them to disaster relief officers and soldiers. Many shops do not do business and provide food and hot soup for the PLA and sanitation workers free of charge; there are also many people who consciously become a volunteer and join the team to fight the flood ......
