Volunteers, as the name implies, are voluntary service to society and the masses regardless of remuneration. Can represent our peak for Jinhua civilization travel volunteers, my heart naturally have indescribable joy.

My duty point with three other colleagues is the intersection of Bayi North Street and Zhongshan Road. This is Jinhua city north-south traffic main road, traffic to and from very dense. The task of our volunteers is to persuade cyclists and cyclists not to run red lights or go retrograde, and to guide pedestrians to go underground.

Unexpectedly, I "left the post without authorization" in less than half an hour on duty. At that time, an elderly couple was walking in the middle of the traffic. I quickly stepped forward to stop it: "Old man, you can't leave here. You are very dangerous." The uncle said, "We are from other places. How can I get to Times Garden Square?" "Times Square? You have to go through the underground passage, and you have to go through two underground passages to get out of Wal-Mart Square diagonally opposite." I explained for a long time, but they still looked blank. It is definitely not possible to let them go by themselves, so I decided to send them there. When I took them through the underground passage, the uncle told me that they were originally Jinhua. They went to Beijing 50 years ago, and now they return to Jinhua, only to find that they have changed a lot. They don't even know the road. The People's Square that was originally printed in my mind is now gone. As an old Jinhua who witnessed the changes in Jinhua, I introduced the rapid changes in Jinhua to the two elderly people. After walking through the two underground passages to the ground, the uncle saw the six-lane New Tongji Bridge and couldn't help but sigh: "This is the New Tongji Bridge? It's a miracle!" When I said goodbye to my uncle and aunt, I told them that I was a volunteer. They gave a thumbs up and said, "Jinhua volunteers quack. Thank you." I said "no thanks" in my mouth, in fact, the heart is very happy.

It should be said that most citizens are willing to accept the persuasion of volunteers. It was a big downhill from Zhongshan Road to the intersection. A girl was riding an electric car to the intersection when she happened to encounter a red light. When the car stopped, it was far beyond the white line. I hurried forward to ask her to stop inside the white line. She said she was sorry and slowly moved back. An uncle who stopped in the white line was not happy, saying how could she stop so far, he would also stop in front. I was busy explaining that somebody else's brake failed and was moving back before uncle subsided. There are many more such examples.

One and a half hours of induction time is over, it is already dark. Although we are a little tired, our faces are filled with joy, because we have been volunteers for a civilized trip, and we have made a modest contribution to the civilized and safe travel of Jinhua citizens. (Hong Zhiwei)
