Yunnan Peak Stored Water Slag in Advance

News As of the end of August 3#, Yunnan Peak Cement Company has completed the storage of more than 9 12000 tons of water slag.

slag is produced in the process of iron and steel smelting products, for iron and steel smelting enterprises have no excavated value, but its water hard gel properties, in cement clinker, lime, gypsum and other activator, can be used as high-quality cement raw materials. Water slag is one of the main raw materials purchased by Yunnan Peak, and its procurement cost is affected by transportation, which fluctuates greatly.

Every year from

3 to 5 is the banana ripening season in Yunnan. Banana transportation vehicles all over the country will purchase bananas from Yuxi to Pu'er, Jinghong and other places where water residue is shipped. This is the time when the unit price of water residue purchase is the lowest. In order to seize this favorable opportunity, Yunnan Jianfeng leased a site to farmers to store the purchased water slag and prepare for production in the future. It is understood that more than 220000 tons of water slag 3# will be stored outside Yunnan's peak plan, and the purchase cost will save more than 150 million yuan. (Ma Kun)
