The vacuum system in the bulk drug workshop of Jinxi Pharmaceutical Factory has 13 liquid ring pumps and Roots vacuum units. Due to operational problems, the blades of the vacuum units are often damaged, which affects the normal production of the workshop.
In response to this situation, Wu Guangjun, the monitor of the electrical work class of Jinxi Factory, went to the scene many times to observe and finally found the reason-when the circulating pump was stopped, the pump often stopped but did not vent, so the blades of the circulating pump would be subjected to two opposite forces, resulting in damage.
After finding out the reason, the electronie class staff designed a reasonable and feasible control system together. The venting operation will not require human control and will be automatically controlled by the solenoid valve control system. The workshop operator normally starts the vacuum water ring pump. After the vacuum is used, press the stop button, the circulating pump will not stop immediately, and the solenoid valve will open at the same time; when the pointer of the vacuum pressure gauge reaches 0.04 MPa, the circulating pump will stop; When the pointer reaches 0 MPa, the solenoid valve is closed. For the consideration of the unexpected situation, the emergency stop button is also installed in the secondary circuit, which can make the motor stop normally when the electric contact vacuum gauge and the solenoid valve fail.
At present, all the vacuum units in workshop 13 have been technically reformed. Through the test machine, they can meet the requirement of automatic shutdown after breaking the air, thus saving the cost and providing guarantee for the production of bulk drugs. (Zhu Guoping)
