Daye Peak Upgrades Environmental Protection Facilities in Jinshan Mine

According to the requirements of the state and local governments, and in order to improve the core competitiveness of the enterprise, Daye Peak Cement Company has recently upgraded the environmental protection facilities in Jinshan Mine and rebuilt the areas that are no longer mined.

Jinshan limestone mine, as the main raw material supply mine of Daye peak, has always played a vital role in production. Due to the uneven distribution of ore grade and wide mining area, dust prevention and dust reduction in mines is particularly important. Daye Peak has laid a spray pipe on the south side of the main road in the eastern district of the mine to reduce the dust generated during the transportation of the mine. The spray gun at the crusher mouth has been upgraded to improve the spray water volume and coverage, reduce the dust generated when ore is dumped into the crushing mouth, and at the same time, a dust collector has been installed in the crushing workshop. After a series of upgrades, from road transport to crushing mouth dumping ore to crushing period, dust significantly reduced.

While upgrading environmental protection facilities, Daye Peak also invested a lot of manpower and material resources to rebuild Jinshan Mine and set up a green mine construction leading group to supervise the construction progress throughout the process. At present, the mine entrance area and the crushing workshop site have been hardened, with an area of about

2000 square meters. Nearly ,200 camphor trees, ,500 koeluan trees and ,2000 square meters of lawn have been planted in areas not mined. The sedimentation tank and the secondary sedimentation tank on the east side of the mine entrance have been put into use, which can play a good role in filtering a small amount of sediment and a small amount of domestic sewage under the mine erosion, and the filtered water can be recycled for production or used as a fire water source.
