Daye Peak Accepts Annual Carbon Verification

News According to Hubei Province's carbon verification work arrangement, 3# August 15 , China Energy Saving Consulting Co., Ltd. conducted 2016 annual carbon verification on Daye Peak Cement Company.

This carbon verification is the basis and basis for the enterprise's performance in 2016 . It is of vital importance to the quota settlement and quota allocation in 2017 . It is also an important work to promote the construction of the national carbon market according to the national requirements. For this reason, Daye Peak attaches great importance to it and makes arrangements in advance. All relevant departments actively prepare the verification data list. On the day of verification, in addition to experts from China Energy Conservation Consulting Co., Ltd., relevant leaders of Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Hubei Provincial Carbon Trading Center, Huangshi City Development and Reform Commission, and Daye City Development and Reform Bureau also came to the scene for guidance. In the exchange between the two parties, Director Fan of the Climate Division of the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission introduced the construction of the national carbon trading market, and introduced the development advantages of the carbon market in Hubei Province based on other carbon market conditions, and encouraged companies to build confidence and use carbon as an asset. Manage and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises to participate in the carbon market. Zhang Fengliang, general manager of Daye Peak, and Hu Hongwei, deputy general manager, discussed and exchanged views with leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission and experts of the verification team on issues related to energy conservation and emission reduction.

After one-day on-site verification by experts of the audit team, it is preliminarily determined that the carbon emissions of Daye Peak 2016 have decreased compared with the previous year. The experts of the audit team affirmed the energy saving and emission reduction and carbon verification work of Daye Peak.

With the whole society's emphasis on energy conservation and emission reduction, Daye Peak has invested a lot of money in related technological transformation in recent years. Since 2011 , it has invested hundreds of millions of yuan and achieved obvious results. Among them, only the technical renovation of the raw material roller press in 2015 saved nearly 2000 kilowatt-hours per year, which is equivalent to reducing the emission of 1 tons CO2 . The implementation of the raw material roller press circulation fan motor frequency conversion speed regulation transformation, annual electricity saving 180 million kilowatt-hours. The person in charge of Daye Peak said that according to the results of this verification, further planning will be made for future energy conservation and emission reduction work, and the implementation work in 2016 will be done well.
