In order to prepare enough clinker for the post-holiday maintenance period, our Yunnan peak decided not to have a holiday this year. When I returned to the dormitory from work on the afternoon of the 30th of the year, my first consideration was, of course, the issue of the New Year's Eve meal. In the past, when I was celebrating the New Year at home, my mother prepared a table of sumptuous dishes early. We just had to eat a lot. This time I spent the New Year in the factory. Although the canteen will provide a more sumptuous dinner, I didn't want to eat in the factory. When I was hesitating, the local colleagues who knew my situation warmly invited me to his house for a lively New Year's Eve dinner, which warmed my heart a little bit.
New Year's Eve, the sound of firecrackers resounded one after another in every corner, fireworks lit up the night sky, my thoughts involuntarily flew back to my hometown, and the scene of reuniting with my family for the New Year came to my mind over and over again. With this experience, I really realized the warmth of my home. I suddenly found myself so homesick.
Fortunately, as soon as I went to work on the first day of the new year, the company's on-duty leaders came to each workshop team early to pay New Year greetings to the employees who stuck to their posts during the festival and gave each of them a warm red envelope.
