When Daye Peak participated in the "Green Mine" selection, he was appointed to sort out documents related to green mines, and received relevant training, learning to use three-dimensional mine model software, and demonstrating the intelligent control system of mining. During this period of time, he rushed to various departments to collect and sort out data. He was never afraid of the tedious and tired work. He often worked overtime and only wanted to complete the work successfully. Finally, Jinshan Mine and Baiyunsi Mine of Daye Jianfeng Cement Company passed the national "green mine" selection, and Liu Yuqi also contributed to this.

Later, he was assigned to the first-line on-site study. In order to understand and familiarize himself with the on-site production equipment and process operation process as soon as possible, he followed the old master on-site inspection every day, ran up and down, and took no less than 20,000 steps every day. The high temperature in the on-site workplace of the kiln and preheater made him suffer a lot. When there was a failure at the scene, he actively ran to the scene to help. He was very busy and never said he was tired. When the fault is solved, he is no longer shy at this time. He always likes to ask the root of the problem and ask the cause and solution of the problem. Over time, he has also accumulated a lot of experience in handling on-site production faults. Diligently and studious, not ashamed to ask, this may be a habit formed when reading. It was his study habit, coupled with his ability to study hard and like to study hard, that made him quickly familiar with the working environment and process operation process on site. After less than a year of on-site study, he was entrusted with an important task and shouldered the burden of kiln master exercises.
