In order to better understand the combustion characteristics of bituminous coal, Huang Ping carried out calcination prediction on the original combustion materials in batches and types before use, looking for bituminous coal producing areas suitable for and beneficial to the kiln calcination of the enterprise, thus stabilizing the combustion characteristics of each batch of bituminous coal entering the plant, reducing the influence on the calcination of clinker and improving the quality of clinker. To this end, Huang Ping Jianfeng organized this exchange meeting and invited technical personnel from METTLER TOLEDO to introduce the performance, instrument structure, program editing, parameter data, operation requirements, analysis and interpretation of test results of synchronous thermal analyzer TGA/DSC.
TGA
is a thermogravimetric analysis, which is used to measure the relationship between sample mass and temperature. By detecting the change of sample mass, the step of mass change is determined, and the temperature of mass loss or mass increase curve is characterized. The test results are reflected in the form of curves, and the trend of sample changes can be seen. DSC is a differential scanning heat method that measures the relationship between the heat flow and temperature of the sample and the reference when the sample rises, cools or maintains a constant temperature. DSC can detect endothermic and exothermic effects, can determine peak areas, determine temperatures that characterize peaks or other effects, and measure specific heat capacity. Before the
exchange meeting, Huang Ping Jianfeng fully communicated and analyzed with the technicians of the manufacturer. In addition to detecting the combustion characteristics of bituminous coal and rubber powder, the synchronous thermal analyzer can also detect the real-time changes in the process of raw material heating reaction mature material. Through the detection, the performance of raw material can be understood, and the raw material that is better conducive to calcination in Huang Ping Jianfeng kiln can be matched to reduce the fluctuation of production quality. Similarly, comparative experiments can be done to understand the use of different correction materials, the corresponding changes in the performance of raw materials, reduce the impact of kiln calcination, and give priority to the selection of correction materials that are beneficial to kiln calcination at the source.
