Once during training, the staff asked what substance was in the dry powder fire extinguisher, and I answered casually that it should be sodium bicarbonate. After the inquiry, it was found that the dry powder fire extinguishers mainly include ammonium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, potassium bicarbonate, potassium carbonate and so on. I was glad that I was not wrong. At the same time, I was more aware of the difficulty and depth of fire fighting work.
Our company belongs to the key fire fighting chemical unit, so the safety committee has set up a voluntary fire brigade, an emergency rescue team and a security team. I am responsible for the daily training and practical operation of these three teams. Every month, the members of these three teams have to conduct training examinations, emergency plan drills, and practical competitions to continuously improve team building and improve the skill level of the team members. In this process, I feel the importance of enterprise managers to safety work, but also feel the importance of their work.
