Valsartan Amlodipine Tablets (Ⅰ) Obtain Registration Approval

News from our newspaper Recently, Jianfeng Pharmaceutical received the Valsartan Amlodipine Tablets (I) "Drug Registration Certificate") approved and issued by the State Drug Administration.

Valsartan and Amlodipine Tablets (I)(specifications: each tablet contains 80mg of valsartan and 5mg of amlodipine) were developed by Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Novartis). They were approved by EMA for listing in the European Union in January 2007, FDA for listing in the United States in June 2007 and approved for listing in China in September 2009. Valsartan amlodipine tablets (I) are used for the treatment of essential hypertension and for patients whose blood pressure cannot be fully controlled by monotherapy. It has been listed in the National Basic Medical Insurance, Work Injury Insurance and Maternity Insurance Drug List (2022) ", classified as Class B; and has been included in the" National Essential Drug List (2018 Edition) ".

Peak Pharmaceutical submitted its registration application to the Drug Evaluation Center of the State Drug Administration on December 16, 2021 and was accepted, and was approved for listing in China on May 19, 2023. The acquisition of Valsartan Amlodipine Tablets (I) "Drug Registration Certificate" this time indicates that Jianfeng Pharmaceutical is qualified to produce and sell the drug, which will further enrich the product range of Jianfeng Pharmaceutical and help to enhance the competitiveness of the company's pharmaceutical business.
