On the afternoon of June 15, the post-doctoral research station of Jianfeng Pharmaceutical held a review meeting for Dr. Wu Zhuo from Donghua University.
Dr. Wu Zhuo's main research directions are research and development of new cardiovascular and cerebrovascular drugs, total synthesis of natural products, and organic synthesis technology. He has published more than ten papers in internationally renowned academic journals such as Eur. J. Med. Chem, and has won many excellent papers awards at the annual meeting of microbiology and biochemical drugs of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Association. Dr. Wu Zhuo's research project in the post-doctoral research station of Jianfeng Pharmaceutical is entitled "Design, synthesis and anti-tumor mechanism of oxindole compounds based on p53 target". At the opening review meeting, he elaborated on the background of the research project, the significance of the topic, the key problems to be solved, the solution plan, the main technical difficulties and innovation points, the work schedule and the budget, and accepted the questions and comments of the expert group.
The expert group of the opening review meeting is headed by Professor Chen Zhilong of Donghua University. Its members include Professor Wu Fanhong of Shanghai University of Applied Technology, Professor Fang Weijie of Zhejiang University's School of Pharmacy, Professor Jin Zhunian of Jinhua Vocational and Technical College of Pharmacy and Dr. Zhang Qiang, chief scientist of Jianfeng Pharmaceutical. Among them, Professor Chen Zhilong and Dr. Zhang Qiang will serve as Dr. Wu Zhuo's on-site co-site mentors respectively. Leaders of Jinhua Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Science and Technology Bureau, Jinhua Development Zone Organization Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and other relevant departments, Jiang Xiaomeng, chairman of the group company and chairman of the pharmaceutical company, Huang Jinlong, deputy general manager of the group company and general manager of the pharmaceutical company, also attended the meeting. opening review meeting, expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the leading experts for their arrival, and briefly introduced the development process of Jianfeng Pharmaceutical, and affirmed the work achievements of the postdoctoral workstation that has been rated as an excellent workstation for many years. He believes that Dr. Wu Zhuo's inbound research project has scientific significance and application value, and expects the research project to achieve the desired results. Huang Jinlong said that the P53 target is an important anti-cancer target that is currently being focused on at home and abroad. It is believed that with the continuous deepening of the research on this target, it will play a positive role in promoting the research and application of anti-cancer drugs. The company will fully support the research of this subject, provide all-round protection in terms of talents, equipment, funds, etc., and require Dr. Zhang Qiang to spend more energy to guide and participate in project research, I look forward to the early results and the early completion of the project.
After discussion, the expert group believed that Dr. Wu Zhuo's research project was selected appropriately, based on sufficient basis, with clear objectives and requirements, and the design scheme was feasible.
