Revisiting Jinggang Spirit, Gathering Endeavour Force Group Party Committee to Organize "July 1" Red Education

Jinggangshan is located in the middle of the Luoxiao Mountains in Anji City, Jiangxi Province. In October 1927, the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries headed by Mao Zedong led the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, where the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base, China's first rural revolutionary base centered on Ninggang County, opened up a revolutionary road with Chinese characteristics of "encircling cities with rural areas and seizing power by armed forces". Jinggangshan is therefore known as "the cradle of Chinese revolution" and "the cornerstone of the People's Republic of China". The revolutionary struggle in Jinggangshan left a precious spiritual wealth for future generations-the spirit of Jinggangshan. Firm belief and hard work are the soul of Jinggangshan spirit; seeking truth from facts and daring to break new roads are the core of Jinggangshan spirit; relying on the masses and daring to win is the cornerstone of Jinggangshan spirit. As the great spirit formed by the Communist Party of China in the hard years of revolutionary struggle and the theoretical crystallization of the Sinicization of Marxism, the Jinggangshan spirit reflects the fine tradition and style of the Communist Party of China, and has extremely rich and profound spiritual connotation.

In Jinggangshan, Party members went to Huangyang border outpost, Red Army grain picking trail, Baizhuyuan, Red Army Mint, Xiaojing Red Army Hospital and other scenic spots to recall the red historical imprint along the footprints of the Red Army. In Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, we systematically understand the profound connotation of Chinese revolutionary history and Jinggangshan spirit.

The spirit of Jinggangshan is an important part of the spiritual pedigree of the Chinese Communists and an important part of the study of party history. In February 2016, General Secretary Xi Jinping said when visiting cadres and masses in Jiangxi, "Jinggangshan is the cradle of the Chinese revolution. The most valuable asset left to us during the Jinggangshan period is the Jinggangshan spirit that spans time and space. Today, we must combine the conditions of the new era, adhere to the firm pursuit of ideals, seek truth from facts, work hard to overcome difficulties, rely on the masses for victory, so that the Jinggangshan spirit radiates a new era."
