Lu Chaofang has been engaged in quality management and technical work in the cable company for many years, and currently serves as the technical director and manager of the technical quality department. All along, she has been working hard to study professional and technical knowledge, while improving her own business level, she has solved many problems in the production, research and development and quality optimization of peak cable. For example, in order to solve the problem that the return loss index and impedance index of Class III and Class V large logarithmic cables exceed the standard, she came up with a way to make the products as stable as possible. However, one molding requires replacement of equipment, which will also lead to the problems of increased working hours and a large amount of waste of tail lines. After repeated deliberation, she designed a grouping threading method based on the wire and cable production technology, and successfully changed the large logarithmic cable from two molding to one, greatly save the production cost, improve the production efficiency. She uses the data cable design method of differentiated wire diameter to greatly improve the qualified rate of data cable, creatively uses the trajectory method to test the twisted pitch of data cable, accurate and efficient, has been widely recognized by peers, and has been promoted and applied in the industry.

Improvement and innovation on the original basis, and development of new products and new manufacturing processes in response to market and customer needs are the main lines of Lu Chaofang's work. In recent years, she has successively served as the person in charge of several new product development projects. Among the projects in charge, "Research and Development of Super Class 5 Double Aluminum Foil Shielded Data Cable " and "Research and Industrialization of Halogen-free Low Smoke Flame Retardant Communication Cable for Subway Trunk Line " are listed in Wucheng District Science and Technology Plan, "Research on Key Manufacturing Process of Low Delay Wear-resistant Flame Retardant Foaming Integrated Data Cable " Project was included in the list of technological innovation projects in Jinhua City, and 7 research results obtained patent certificates.

While studying professional and technical knowledge with great concentration, Lu Chaofang also attaches great importance to the skills training of employees. Under her careful guidance, one employee of the cable company has obtained the qualification of senior technician, two employees have obtained the qualification of senior inspector, four inspectors have obtained the qualification of intermediate worker, five extruders and one wire drawing worker have obtained the qualification of senior worker, becoming the technical force with endogenous power within the cable company.

Through its own continuous efforts, Lu Chaofang has gradually grown into a technical authority in the Zhejiang communication cable industry. In recent years, she has served as the referee of the fifth division of the third National Wire and Cable Extruder Competition, the fifth division of the fourth National Wire and Cable Inspection Competition, and a member of the Technical Committee of the first Zhejiang Inspection Competition. With her mobilization and encouragement, the employees of the cable company actively signed up to participate in the industry skills competition, and won the seventh and eighth place in the Zhejiang final communication cable group and the sixth place in the national final communication cable group.
